Duffin Manufacturing has nearly 50 years of experience producing high-quality turned parts. We work with a variety of materials, including brass, stainless, carbon and alloy steels, copper, and aluminum. In addition to our core screw machine capabilities, we offer many value-added services, including engineering support, secondary manufacturing processes, heat-treating, coatings, assemblies, packaging and inventory management.

For many jobs requiring multiple operations, Duffin uses in-line cellular manufacturing so that all processes are performed within a single work unit. This approach provides many benefits, including lower inventory levels, less work in process, improved quality control and shorter lead times -- all adding up to more competitive pricing and improved response.

Screw Machine Operations Automatic screw machining represents the backbone of our operations. For many medium- to high-volume parts the most cost effective method of manufacture is our single- or multi-spindle automatic turning machines. We're equipped with more than 50 machines and can produce a broad range of parts. We quote your part specifications based on the most economical manufacturing equipment and process we have.
CNC Machining We offer both conventional and Swiss-type CNC capabilities to complement our screw machine operations. Our CNC equipment allows us to manufacture complex, tight-tolerance parts and low volume parts cost effectively.
Value-Added Operations Duffin has invested in and developed many manufacturing processes to complement our primary machining operations. These include grinding, stamping, drilling, tapping, heat-treating, surface coatings and many other machining processes. In addition, we offer automated and semi-automated assembly work, and product testing.

Inventory Management
Duffin offers a variety of stocking, packaging and delivery options. Custom packaging, returnable containers and bar coding are just a few of the tools we offer to help our customers better track, ship and manage their inventory. We prefer the Kanban System of inventory management to eliminate as much of our customers' inventory overhead as possible, but are happy to accommodate any inventory management arrangement.
